Women's night safety network

TAKING BACK THE NIGHT
No woman should face the darkness alone. At the Women’s Night Safety Network, we create safe spaces, both literal and virtual, where women can rest, park, camp, and connect without fear. By harnessing the power of community, we reclaim what the city often tries to erase—women’s right to safety, dignity, and freedom to exist outdoors without harassment or criminalization.
COMMUNITY COLLABORATION
Safety works best when it comes from people who truly understand the stakes. Our network is built by women for women, emphasizing mutual aid, solidarity, and peer-to-peer support. From hosting safe parking and camping spaces to providing services, our members are on the front lines of protecting each other—demonstrating that community-driven care is more effective than systems that criminalize survival.
COMMUNITY AS A FORCE
We believe collective power creates real protection. WNSN unites hosts, service providers, and volunteers to provide essential support—from meals and supplies to childcare and hygiene services. This network isn’t just about responding to danger—it’s about proactively building structures of care that reduce isolation, increase safety, and empower women to reclaim their nights.
FIGHTING THE SYSTEM BY SUPPORTING EACH OTHER
Local laws and camping bans often put women at greater risk, criminalizing survival instead of addressing need. WNSN exists to counter that, offering practical, immediate solutions while challenging policies that endanger women. By connecting women directly with safe spaces and supportive community members, we create resistance that is tangible, life-saving, and rooted in solidarity.
A NETWORK YOU CAN JOIN
WNSN is more than a program—it’s a movement. Women across the nation can step in to protect women, whether by hosting a safe parking or camping spot, providing services, or spreading awareness. Every act strengthens the network, proving that safety is collective, not solitary. Together, we build a community where women don’t just survive—they reclaim their nights with power, dignity, and support.
